This is a question Presents

What are you buying your loved ones this Christmas? We're looking for inspiration and reckon a big share-a-thon of ideas will help everyone buy better gifts this year.

BTW: If your family reads B3ta and you're worried about giving the game away then tell us what you bought last Christmas.

I can't stand it
When people collect toys and keep them in the boxes cos 'they will be worth a bit in a few years'. Soulless. Totally missing the point. A friend of mine used to collect those poxy cars in the plastic boxes and would arrange them on his shelves in all their plastic covered glory. Until that is, on a wind-up I told him that light over time makes the clear plastic on the boxes perish. Stupid fucker then hid them all away in his wardrobe, never to see the light of day again. Nobend.

Cars are awesome.
If she collected them I'D probably get them out of the box and play with them.

The bratz thing wouldn't be so bad if she ADMITTED she plys with them instead of pretending she hasn't opened the boxes.

My older brother has a collection of hand made model cars
worth thousands....He occasionally gives the odd one to my son ,when he needs to make room in one of the hand made display cabinets( I kid you not). I thoroughly enjoy watching my boy scoot them across the floor like common or garden dinky toys . Toys are toys ..no matter how much they cost.
