Christmas marketsI'm pinning my hopes on Manchester's xmas markets. There's usually some decent crafts around. Failing that there are things such as Amazon, Lush, Hotel Chocolat and suppliers of alcoholic beverages.
On the list are : a couple of computer games, some lush stuff, some wine related stuff, a couple of books and some jewellery. Other than that, at a loss..
My cunning plan is to go out with a friend shopping, then recover with beer and curry and chat.

there was a girl on the german market outside the town hallwho did lovely silver jewellery - no idea if she's still got a stall, but worth a look. I bought stuff for my sisters and my mum off her a few times. the giant car boot at New Smithfield is always worth a wander round this time of year as well.
