Relief
Last week, I thought we'd run over and killed something. After steeling myself to get out and find the body of somebody's beloved pet, I found we'd squished a bin bag. When has something turned out not as grim as you first thought?

I've found the best way to deal with old matey is never to reply to him directly.
If you do reply to him, he'll get exactly what he wants: an opportunity to drag you down to his level and beat you to death with oblivious smug ignorance.
