Try two years of it
It wasn't as though I couldn't go on dates but I found it emotionally hard to connect with them....if that makes sense. I felt as though I wanted every girl to be the same as my ex...the good parts anyway. People say all the time that women are softer than men but I think that with realtionships they have the ability to get over it much quicker.

Guys, I watched my fiancee die slowly and horribly from cancer. Even if I didn't get involved with women, I at least made sure I went out and did things with friends and family rather than mope around.

Fuck, plan a weekend trip alone somewhere with no plans to get laid, just to enjoy it on your own and maybe meet new people.
