# Horror haul from weapons amnesty

For lunch today I'm having two scotch pies and beans, a banana,
two passion fruits, three bottles of Ossian ale.
Then, because I have 5 or 6 weeks off work and can do whatever
I want on my 5 or 6 weeks off work, I'm going fishing on my 5 or 6 weeks off work.
What are you having?
(, Tue 11 Jul 2006, 12:32, archived)
# :)
Noodles, a fish finger sandwich, a fish sandwich, some orange flavoured icing and tea, all with NO CHEESE!
(, Tue 11 Jul 2006, 12:32, archived)
# That sounds braw!
fishfinger sandwiches are a might tasty
(, Tue 11 Jul 2006, 12:34, archived)
# I also have NO CHEESE !
I did have some Very Runny Stinky Brie, but when I went to have some today I found it crawling with little caterpillars.
Although I was quite impressed with my discovery of lifeforms that grow out of cheese I didn't feel like eating any.
(, Tue 11 Jul 2006, 12:41, archived)
# EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
(, Tue 11 Jul 2006, 12:44, archived)
# To be fair
It was 'proper' unpasteurised Brie,
I bought it on it's sell-by date,
and it had been sat on the kitchen worktop for well over a week.
On the other hand, it was in a sealed container (to keep the smell in) so the beasties definetly grew out of the cheese.
(, Tue 11 Jul 2006, 12:52, archived)
# They grew out of the cheese?
Double EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
(, Tue 11 Jul 2006, 12:53, archived)
# hahaha!
that happened to me once, unpasteurised cheese is the best.
(, Tue 11 Jul 2006, 12:56, archived)
# It wasn't funny
I REALLY wanted Runny Stinky Brie on water biscuits for my breakfast.
I had to have toast and marmite instead,
(, Tue 11 Jul 2006, 13:00, archived)
# I'm going to France soon
so I'll be taking back heaps of cheese. It's going to be braw.

# Braw!
good combination!
(, Tue 11 Jul 2006, 12:36, archived)
# Usually it's the acest combo
but today I was a tad liberal with the gravy and it detracted from the taste of the tommy sauce
(, Tue 11 Jul 2006, 12:37, archived)
# booo!
a schoolboy error
(, Tue 11 Jul 2006, 12:38, archived)
# Indeed it is

I shall go and beat myself up as a reminder to be less gravily liberal in the future
(, Tue 11 Jul 2006, 12:47, archived)
# pouring gravy is dangerous business
pour too little and you don't get sufficient moistness and flavour ... pour to much and you end up with your dilemma.
(, Tue 11 Jul 2006, 12:56, archived)
# You speak words of great wisdom

However this only is true of the Chips/Beans/Gravy combo...in all other situations there is no meaning to the term "too much gravy"
(, Tue 11 Jul 2006, 13:01, archived)
# This is true
especially where yorkshire puds / dumplings are concerned. Any excess can be mopped up with tasty bread.
Gravy is woo!
