Thinking 'ooh, cute cartoon bunnies' - then it got to the bit with the snare. Never again. Made the same mistake with Animal Farm.

# If you mean Watership Down
I'm not allowed to watch it.

We learned the hard way with films like All Dogs Go To Heaven, Lady and the Tramp and Bambi that I don't go well with Disney films, they're too sad. Watership Down would kill me.

(I've not seen Dumbo either, same reason)

# I saw that article - what a crock of shit.... I listen to most of that stuff for one thing (aside from Rap)
and the personality descriptions are all too similar and vague.
(, Fri 5 Sep 2008, 11:53, archived)
# I can't watch Dumbo or Bambi
Lady and the Tramp's just about ok
(, Fri 5 Sep 2008, 11:51, archived)

(, Fri 5 Sep 2008, 11:58, archived)
# Still....
To put this into perspective, I couldn't get through Lilo and Stitch. We had to stop because I was crying so much.

I've seen it all now, but it took me some time to calm down.
(, Fri 5 Sep 2008, 11:58, archived)
# Ah
You have issues...

Has to be said, I cried at Finding Nemo, but I was pregnant so I blamed the hormones

Just finished a Pixar marathon - watched all the films and the shorts in order. Bliss!
(, Fri 5 Sep 2008, 12:05, archived)
# I cried at that as well
not issues as such, just can't stand seeing animals, even cartoon ones, in pain or upset or lonely.
(, Fri 5 Sep 2008, 12:03, archived)
# It's anthropomorphism
Anything that MIGHT have feelings and I can't deal. If the carpet in Aladdin was sad, I'd have problems there too
(, Fri 5 Sep 2008, 12:08, archived)
# Yep.
I'm terrible for it. I told the wife off a while back for saying that we could get a new sofa when we were in the same room as our old one, and then made him apologise.
(, Fri 5 Sep 2008, 12:10, archived)
