A filthy lie!!
cheese and custard are my friends - as for being a maiden well I don't get kidnapped by dragons and rescued by knights in shining armour if that's what they mean.

Ah, that's right damsel in distress. Originally my username was the LotR inspired shieldmaiden there was some storm in the teacup about my username so I dropped the shield bit then I got all the Iron Maiden references after that - I thought about changing it but it had become attached to me by virtue of the fact that that's what b3tans called me. However I hate the username even though my website is called maidenart - but I come to accept it as part of me although I wish I had chosen a username more fluffeh and one not associated with Heavy Metal teenage boys. Now all the furor is about the badger icon.

'bint' in Yorkshire means a women who's a bit stupid
"Look at that silly bint!"
But I like the Hebrew version :)
I noticed you posted a herbrew expression the other day would I be right in saying your not gentile? And if so how does all this Jew Bashing on the board make you feel - do you take it with a pinch of salt, does it anger you but you don't want to get all unfluffeh on ppl's asses?

I know what bint means in English
I'm led to believe it came from the Hebrew though.

I've advised people to use them but never used one myself
I'm told they can be very helpful for pain not relieved by first-line treatments.

*and then the police broke through the door and explained she wasn't my wife anymore, and hadn't been for 15 years*
Ps but the one at the hospital was better.
