My grandfathers didn't spend 4 years in a Japanese PoW camp and however long in the Middle East and France fighting to defend the freedom of these types; they killed these types, simple as.
We need to distance ourselves from this post-war whitewashing of history and take a look back at the 30s, when racism was rife in this country, and the response to racism was appropriately violent.
