This is a normal post NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I genuinely can't think of anyone less likely to sell out than them.

Except for perhaps the lead singer of the sex pistols, oh hang on.

This is a normal post That's what I love about John Lydon.
He's so punk he doesn't even give a shit about his own legacy. I love watching old punks squirm when butter adverts are mentioned.

This is a normal post It's not that bad
I was expecting some remixed pop thing but she's kept the same tempo

This is a normal post I've never heard a whole Radiohead song before
they should get a girl singer

oh wait, there's that song where they all lie down because they've heard 'I Love Horses', I might have heard all of that

This is a normal post I actually know a woman in her thirties who claims to have never heard a radiohead song

This is a normal post I think I've actually only ever heard 2 Radiohead songs
the I Love Horses one and the one with the water tank

This is a normal post It's quite good.
I really liked her track Whip My Hair, in it's own cheesy pop way. We need more young 'uns like her making pop that doesn't seem to be making a big effort to be shite, and leading kids down interesting sample-researching paths.

This is a normal post I don't think she's releasing it, although maybe she should.
I quiet liked it. If she spends the rest of her life singing over the top of songs I like I'll be happier than if she keeps whipping her fucking hair back and forth.

This is a normal post Well, she's basically done fuck-all to it other than sing over it, she's sampled the whole track, lazy.
I like the original vocals enough as it is so i'll just stick to that.

This is a normal post I like her voice.
Can't say I heard much in the lyrics though, I kept getting distracted by Radiohead in the background.

This is a normal post Not too shabby.
It's lazy in terms of making something original out of it, but I quite like it.

This is a normal post I find it creepy to hear a 13 year old singing lines like "Inject my soul with darkness".

This is a normal post To be fair
it must be really difficult for her.
She's got a good voice for a 13 year old, but she'll struggle to be taken seriously as an artist because of who she is.
I wonder if radiohead have recognised that, and think they are helping her out credibility wise.

If I didn't know who that was I'd like it. So I like it despite the fact it's Wikkedy wah wah's daughter singing over a Radiohead tune. So what?

It's not like Radiohead have sold out. They stopped giving a fuck about things like that years ago. If they ever did.

This is a normal post ^This^
I think you hit the nail on the head with "if I didn't know how it was..."
I'm a big Radiohead 'fan' (ugh) insomuchas I've bought most of their back catalogue and liked all of it. I love how they've mutated over the years and tried out new things. And I don't see this as a sell out. Other people have sampled/covered their tracks. Scroobius Pip used Planet Telex on Letter From God To Man or whatever it was called, and that uber-cunt Mark Ronson did that fuck awful ear-rape version of Just about 4 years ago. I already hated that cunt anyway so it was expected. Anyway, back to the point. I like this track. I don't see how Radiohead are selling out at all.

One of my (possibly irrational) pet hates is hearing entertainers described as artists. If what you create has its commercial potential as its central concern, you are not an artist. In my extremely pompous opinion.
