They are great entertainment. They are hardly a threat or a respected authority of ideas. It's not like anyone takes them seriously - even the most biggotted of neanderthal would fine them ridiculous. They might even have the effect of uniting people against such outlandish views. I suspect for every person they have "converted" to their ways, hundreds of others have gone the other way. Why would you hate gays if the like minded people you share that view with is the Westboro Baptist church. Either way, I love watching them act like pricks.
