This is a question Lies that went on too long

When you lie you often have to keep lying. Share your pain. When I was 15 I pretended to be 16 to help get a summer job. Then had to spend a summer with this nice shopkeeper asking me everyday if I was excited about getting my GCSE results. I felt like an utter shit. Thanks to MerseyMal for the suggestion.

Having known someone who came back from the "1st round" (his words)
If OP didn't get help for PTSD after claiming that he had it he would definitely be in the minority.
If the only people he told were his parents then what I said still stands. Change "taking resources from other veterans" to "needlessly causing his family stress".

Now. Is that back-pedalling or riding backwards.
Honestly. I don't know.
Maybe you need to explain some of your humorous quips.
Just a thought.

????
I think your being a bit of a cunt about this, my parents made the assumption I was cracked, they could have easily noticed what was going on (dilated pupils, smell of hash, dancing to traffic noises etc) if only they had took there heads out the sand, but no i had PTSD so to fuck with all the clues.

Who'd have thought that someone acting like a prick after coming back a combat zone might have PTSD eh?
Fucking idiots.

Don't listen to these cunts, I think it's win win.
You get to sponge off the parental units

And they get to believe you've got a far away look in your eye because you're a war hero, not a monged out waster locked in his bedroom at his mum and dad's

*you're* & *their*
So it's their fault that you deceived them?
Have to admit tho - I did sniggle at the "dancing to traffic noises"
