Evening chaps and chappesses
I had a phone interview this afternoon, technical questions. Did quite well. Mysteriously don't have the shits any more. Dunno what I was nervous about, really.

Is this the London gig?

Yeah
Still don't know if I 100% want it, but I shall keep going until they shoot me down or offer me shitloads of cash.

I'd snap their hand off for that kind of money, even if it did mean living in London.

That would be a win for London as a whole, providing misses and co can re rather than co locate.

You're too kind, Gonz. Too kind.
I would, though.

I'm sure he meant me, DG.
To be honest, it's a classic - my job here is secure, good pension, good chance the office will be moving to be 10 minutes walk away - safe and comfortable and stagnating.
London job is way more cash, new and interesting, lots to see and do, make new friends, etc etc.

New and exciting or tried and tested???

Well in my case I'd take the new and exciting.
Because, frankly, I don't have any other option. But job security is a massive draw.
