tomatoey is a million times better than creamywhich quickly gets sickly and Wrong. spicy arrabiata sauce loaded up with garlic and onions is the best thing for pasta. and the lowest fat.
but i am not averse to a bit creamy AND tomatoey. think tomato and mascarpone, for example.

Oh I didn't read your last sentence.You can get stuff that's tomatoey AND spicy and also a bit creamy.
I'll see if they have that.
