I've no idea why they publish this data when they haven't actually got the final figures
It's a bit like going "and, with 15 minutes to go, Team A are beating team B by 1 goal to nil, so let's leave it there and update the league tables!"

Manufacturing down 1.3%
and construction down over 5%
So it's not just construction but that's a big chunk.

which is down because this time last year it was building a fuckton of olympic stuff, I assume?

Well it's a sign that as a country we're making less money than we were the previous quarter.
It's not just a word, they don't make it up and unfortunatly a recession hits that wonderfully vague thing "confidence" and it will slow investment.
