I went to the pale, undernourished side ten years ago.
It hasn't killed me, although I do now look like I'm dying from AIDS.

Done correctly
veggie diets can be pretty good (the housemate who was veggie always cooked way nicer things than me and always had spare, so I lived off that for a while)

I'm afraid you are dying from AIDS
This can happen if you go veggie and then switch back.

one of my colleagues told a student
that if you go veggie your canines drop out. If you want to eat meat again you have to have fake ones put in
(, Wed 8 Aug 2012, 15:46, Reply)
I don't have any canines in my top row of teeth
Yet my premolars have developed a pointy, canine-like appearance.
It's almost like my teeth want to eat meat.

Seems to me
your students are thick as pigshit.

I didn't go back.
I'm sure I read somewhere though that if you go without meat for long enough, it becomes poison to your body. Although that does sound like complete bollocks to me.

That's an utter lie.
My brother lived on vegetables for 15 years and cracked eventually and has gone totally the other way. I got a text about how he has 'a heart in the freezer' once.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not against the whole idea of meat, just the killing to obtain it.
I'd be in favour of in vitro meat if more work was done to produce it on a large scale without the additives and hormones that turn anyone who eats it into a swelling, Tetsuo-like blob.

I was watching Sham 69 at Rock Against Racism in Victoria Park
as part of a punk doc the other day, and live they were great, despite their shit records. I was surprised. I was also surprised to discover that Cockney Rejects were excellent.
