It will happen, if it's an internal email address and they haven't already read it.

oh it's one step worse than false hope, dude
it means they will not only get the email, but a snitching email saying, "baked ape tried to recall this message."
one for every time you frantically clicked "recall".

I have a good chuckle about that.
Especially when people call up all desperate because they're been a total Nakers and sent something to the client that'll get them sacked and I tell them "yeah, sorry, all that button did was send another email to them telling them that you frantically tried to backtrack like the shortly-to-be-unemployed cocksniffer you are".
Sometimes I really love my job.

It likes to laugh at you...
Unless you are on wireless and are quick enough pull the Ethernet from the computer... this will stop the email in your outbox and you can delete/ edit before resending

Pop3 and sms are different protocols though
In theory if you could get the antenna out that would stop the signal and you would get a message fail .

that was my thinking, or to put it the way my brain saw it, "KILL IT BEFORE IT LAYS EGGS"
unfortunately I was too late, and my text to the then bf saying, "quick quick our [hideous and weird] colleague has finally pulled some poor bastard" went to her.

How on Earth do you expect to have any control over another company's email system?

If you don't want to send stuff you shouldn't to clients
then don't be a twat. It's really quite simple. I manage to not call people cunts via email all the fucking time and they even deserve it, sometimes.
