when i was a kid, i overheard my dad's booming voice say something to my mother about the budget being bad or in trouble
i tumbled down the stairs in panic and fear.
i'd thought he said "budgie".

you can convert an s&s isa directly to cash, then put it in your pension to get the higher rate tax relief at 40%
Then at 55, let your tax rate drop to basic, take the 25% tax free lump sum and have the rest taxed at 20%.
Lots of free money.

the 30k triv comm announcement is because average pension pot is 30k.
So until the new accessibility comes in there's no need for most people to buy an annuity.
But it's irresponsible as fuck.
