I'm basically on my own in my little section of IT.
It's annoying how quickly fully grown adults regress to childhood tantrums when told they can't have every whim catered to immediately.

I love fixing stuff.
Unfortunately, a major part of our job is dealing with tantrums because the other person put "Microsoft Office proficient" on their CV and doesn't like hearing "yeah, you'll want to book an appointment with the training department."
(, Wed 26 Mar 2014, 11:22, Reply)
Well, nobody likes a critic.

I'm annoyed by the postie walking up to my door with a 'sorry we missed you' card ALREADY FILLED OUT.
I'm in the house you fuckwit! I even opened the door to you and you STILL handed it to me.

Alt: The jet age. I'm fascinated by the leaps in technology from propeller planes to supersonic jets.

You can monitor the health of all machines on the network from virtually and push through updates etc. if users keep ignoring them...
It even has a great sever app that allows you to view users activity and take control of their machine for lulz.

I know this information doesn't support me not working in IT but I dont
