Doesn't it simply come down to teh parts they use?
I have a zoostorm, which has been great and really good value. I'd never heard of them but some research suggested that they bought in good quality internals and built decent laptops. they're customer service has been good as well.

The one I'm looking at is £749. That way I can use some of the rest of the cash for software, a new tablet and still have some cash.
