I will be going to IKEA in 45 minutes, I fully expect it to be a looooooong job as my G/F is 'looking for ideas'
Pray for me.
What are you guys doing with your Saturday?
Alt: Motorcycles - good or bad. My youngest wants to get her bike licence, I never did as I believe it's a lot harder to fall off a car. Are any of you bikers? If so, talk me into it. Or not, your choice.

I'm waiting for a premium passport appointment
premium my arse, this queue is at least 15 mins long :(

oh my mistake they don't call in ticket order but in appointment time order. hopefully they'll be right on time. I dislike waiting for stuff.

I once had to go to Peterborough for a second passport
Went in, did the paperwork at about 10 a:m, they told me to be back at 4 to pick it up. All was hunky dory apart from having to spend 6 hours in Peterborough.
Poor bugger arguing his case for a passport(he was a forrin) in the next cubicle to me when I went in was still there when I picked mine up.

Premium thing was pretty slick actually - just go back in 4 hours all done
for an extra £40, why piss around with post etc. but yer the chap next to me had a letter without a date on it from his employer and would they accept it? he kept saying he'd write it on, yeah cause that's the point. he looked and sounded like a total nakers (posh and floppy not bent and spasticated)

I'm going to The Archery Shop In Essex today.
I shall be either upgrading my limbs or buying a long rod. Not a euphemism.

Motorcycles - 5 fatalities of people I knows and various terrible injuries
Motorcars - 0 fatalities of people I knows and a bit of compo whiplash for another.

Motorcyclists are not known as organ donors for nothing.

Nothing wrong motorbikes,
But I wouldn't let a child of mine ride one. No no.
(, Sat 26 Apr 2014, 11:25, Reply)
Doesn't matter how sensibly you behave on a bike
there's a plentiful supply of stupid cunts behind the wheel of a car or van who will make that mean very little.

Bikes are fantastic
The biking community is in the main full of sensible and wonderful people (save for a few idiots who give it a bad name).
I would love a motorbike, but given that the majority of car drivers are either ignorant, selfish or both, you need that steel box round you. It never ceases to amaze me the risks people will take just to place their car in front of mine.

I'm with Jackie Stewart - best way to get people to drive more safely would be to fix a fuck off big spike in the middle of every steering wheel.....

Just had my disabled ears turned up a bit.
Bit shopping in and now the day is mine. Gonna go for a wander and have a bev.
Bikes are pretty dangerous imo. Nothing to save you should you crash.
