I've been through it a few times.
I found it frustratingly difficult to find somewhere to have an airport pint. It's like trying to find a pub in Merry Hill or whatever counts for a just-out-of-town shopping centre in your neck of the woods.

What do you mean? Just ask the waitress in the first class lounge and they'll bring you as many pints as you want.

I got frisked in Greece and the bloke asked where my baggage was.
I thought he meant 'what side do you dress to' so sort of rearranged myself and said left. He stopped and said 'no, your bags, which scanner?' I said 'left' and he wandered off muttering and shaking his head.
