I think the internet is killing car booting

Condition on all are near mint Discogs says I can get between £9 and £28.50 for one of the albums

Yeah, it's a bugger when people know what the shit they're selling is actually worth
I mean, how's a guy supposed to fleece a mug now?

I think sites like Gumtree will kill off car boot sales soon

(, Sun 1 Mar 2015, 12:23, Reply)
Gumtree is no different to a local paper really. And shit. And for cunts.
Ebay has managed to exploit one of the most basic human desires: not having to talk to other people. By removing the requirement of awkward haggling, private transactions are now so much more civilised.

Ugh, imagine having to deal with the little people in order to sell your goods.
You might have some dreadful chav turn up on your doorstep.

My ex brother-in-law* used to get really incensed at the antiques shows on the TV
He was a serial conner of old ladies - he'd get tea sets, knick knacks and furniture at ludicrously low prices and sell it on. Once the TV shows started and his potential victims cottoned on he had to pay proper prices.

*Ex on two counts - I'm now divorced and he topped himself

What a despicable human being.
I hope he's burning in hell for his crimes.
