This is a question Teenage Crushes - Part Two

Freddie Woo writes: I've still got weird feelings for a well-known female TV presenter from the 1980s. I'm now in my forties, work in the same building as her and she follows me on a number of social networking sites. And now, she knows about it.

Tell us about the teenage crushes that still make you go wobbly.

It was 'Babooshka' that did it for me...
Still does, as it goes.

Go and check the video out again on YouTube. Great Googly Moogly!

For a while, I was a rabid Kate Bush fanboy. Posters on the wall, all the singles and all the LPs (and again on tape) and was even a fully paid-up member of both her fan clubs (The KBC and Homeground, since you're asking). I met her at several conventions in the Eighties and early Nineties. Lovely lady, though the Sa-a-arf London accent and the chain-smoking came as a bit of an eye-opener.

I guess this is why I decided, once my first crush on Tegan from Dr. Who had subsided, to win the heart and eventually marry an elfin brunette with big boobies. I ended up marrying a willowy, auburn-haired creature (taller than me) with no boobies whatsoever, who, curiously, was also a Kate Bush fan.

We've been together seventeen years now...

Surely being a professional footballer
she would have fallen at your feet?

Nah, doesn't work for goalkeepers...
We're like drummers. All the work and none of the glory.
