The 'transgender debate' is really quite alarming right now, with the rights and indeed safety of women and girls in the UK being in danger.

I really don't care what gender people identify as; it has no impact on my life whatsoever. But I do care if some bloke with malicious intent is able to share a changing room with my wife or teenage daughter, because he told the staff he identified as a woman.

First, trans people have been using the facilities that they want to since forever. This whole worrying-about-trans-people is really only a recent phenomenon (unsurprisingly, it's mainly because anti-gay campaigners have shifted their target since equal marriage).

Second, blokes with malicious intent are already able to share a changing room with you or your son. And without having to drag up either.

Finally, let's say we want make a rule that you have to use the facilities that match your birth gender. So now, you'll have big burly beardy guys (the likes of Buck Angel or this dude below) having to use the Ladies', for example



So you'd make it even easier for a malicious man to get into the toilet because he wouldn't even have to drag up, thus making the entire premise behind it completely useless.

And then conversely there'll be the trans women forced to use the Gents. Do you really think those women are going to be safe doing that?

SpaceX launch of Bangabandhu Satellite-1 from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Florida. The launch window is from 21:14 to 23:21 BST. Forecast shows a 30% chance of violating weather conditions.

Following stage separation, SpaceX will attempt to land Falcon 9’s first stage on the drone ship “Of Course I Still Love You”, stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. Approximately 33 minutes after launch, the satellite will be deployed into a geostationary transfer orbit (GTO)

Launchpad computers detected an abort condition; it wasn't possible to reset, identify the fault, and check everything within the launch window.

Still, a scrub is a trillion times preferable to an explosion.

Tomorrow, launch window is from 20:14 to 22:21 UTC but there's currently a 40% chance of a weather violation.

half the fucking world is trying to export food to us but the huge tariff barriers erected by the EU make it nigh on impossible.
I'm actually more bremainee than you but the food angle is rubbish. The CAP was designed purely for fat french farmers who wanted to continue doing things the way their fathers did (06.30 - calvados and croissant, 07/q5 petit brandy avec cafe etc etc) and it then got massively gamed by all the biggest cunts in europe.

This is a normal post Also the punitive tarrifs on goods from outside the EU is hurting people we should be helping.
16% tarrifs on oranges so were forced to buy subsidised Spanish ones.
Large tarrifs on processed cocoa and coffee beans so Africa farmers can't get the full value of their product.

Basically the whole system is there to protect relatively wealthy european buisiness owners whilst exploiting 3rd world farmers.

Drop those tarrifs and we get very cheap food.

Wushky was originally always sold cask strength and you had to (well generally you did) water it down to taste. Supposedly Edinburgh tap water is the official eau but yeah Edinburgh is full of ponces who will say anything... Anyways!

The manufacturers thought "Lets pre-water it for these useless twats and we can make a fortune"

So they sat down with many testers and worked out what people generally liked. They found that % and then started to pre-water it down but on the strong side on the principal that it's easier to add more water than it is to take water out (which is hard mmkay)

THUS m'lord washkey is sold a little stronger than most people like so a tad of water makes it taste better as your taste buds need water to function.

To get over the ice problem you can get whisky stones. They're little cubes of limestone that you keep in the freezer until you need them. Plop them in your drink and it becomes nice and chilled without diluting it. You'll need a few of them so you can rotate them throughout the evening.
