# HAHAHAHAHA
EDIT: Any webby boffins out there can tell me if an address isn't registered with Nominet, who else it can be registered with?

# Hahahaha
Naaaa. Just some site is using my hostel's name in it's meta tag and it has nothing to do with me and doesn't mention us once.
Nominet whois comes up with diddly squat.

# my bands stats page keeps getting hits from a site
monitoring the stock markets. as far as im aware, we dont have stocks and a site search fails to bring up results...i recon its ghosts of the internets

ASLO: - is k3b/-\b about?
(, Mon 27 Oct 2008, 12:27, archived)
# what's the ending?
.uk? or something else. Just give me the addy ( in private if you like ) and I'll snoop. Also remember your hostel's name is not necessarily specific to your hostel and you may have no intelectual claims on it.
As you know the meta tag is there to help search engines scrape the site but is used for no other reason than to drive traffic there.

# .com names are usually registered with
arin.net and can be found using whois.
A quick search for that domain, if spelled properly shows it to be unregistered and available. It also does not resolve so I guess you got it wrong.

# score with who?
nominet or pre-nominet. Nominet are a company set up to con you into spending money to join a registry that means nothing and has no regulatory powers. And pre-nominet are there to tell you about it.
