The reason he was calling you Navi was because in The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time (N64, 1998), the character Navi would draw the player's attention to items and points of interest by repeatedly saying "Hey!" and "Listen!"

Unfortunately what was originally intended to be a clever "in universe" way of guiding the player through the game quickly became a source of annoyance, to the point that Navi is now one of the most well known NPCs in the Legend of Zelda series alongside Tingle and even Zelda herself simply by being so annoying to deal with.

I'll say one thing for it, it's effective at gamifying exercise, especially in younger players, I'm only on it because I was a fan of the old games
And it's got me out and about a lot more. If you're expecting a deep, involving game that perfectly simulates the pretend life of a Pokemon trainer, move on, they're just a mechanic to make you walk around

Already on it apparently
As a way of monetizing the game without being dependent on microtransactions, they're going to be adding "sponsored PokeStops" in certain areas that companies can pay to have advertisements displayed (works both ways I guess, you take money from the companies to advertise, and also take money from the small number of users who pay to have the adverts removed).

(, Fri 15 Jul 2016, 10:37, archived)
It's not just the roads, and you know that really
The roads are just the beginning. Adequate health care, education, policing, even the water system. It's all impacted by the amount of people who live here. And the property developers only see the bottom line...not the fact that actual humans will have to live in these conditions.

The Beeching cuts were probably necessary at the time
but in hindsight they've been a fucking disaster.
(, Fri 15 Jul 2016, 10:45, archived)
Savings probably had to be made but Beeching was appointed by Marples, who was a previously a high-flyer in construction companies and opened the M1.
So there was definitely an ideological opposition to rail/public transport and a desire to get people buying cars and helping manufacturing.

And that ideology lasted far longer than it should have done.

Housing prices is one of them, children is another, my wife's job is another and our extended family, to a lesser extent also influenced the decision. There's no way I could afford to move out of the area when we first bought a house, but we plan to at some point.
