We need suggestions for stuff to play on B3ta Radio.
Here's the guidelines:
* Nothing that was a hit. Not our rule, but the stations rule
* Stuff that's amusing
* Links to mp3s are far more likely to be played than 'go and look for xxx, it's good.'
* Stuff you've made. Would be really great if people took the time to make short bits of audio. We're allowed to use commercial recordings so editing together a 'Top 10 Paedo Pop Records Countdown' would be fine.

Some of the realaudio tracks fade out, when the songs are a bit longer on the CD, but several sound "complete," and would be fine for radioplay. Contact info for musicians is there.

STH is a "classic" in the traditional sense. I was talking about this with a mate and we came to the conclusion that the less traditionally "classic" the song, the better the Cheese treatment worked. I could imagine a lounge singer attempting "Stairway...", but not, say "Hate To Say I Told You So". It's the gap of inappropriateness that is, for me, the comedy.
Comedy is very dull when dissected. I'll shut up now. And at the end of the day, all we're expressing is a preference.

As it turns out, I make a bunch of music, under the performing name (yes, I'm cool enough to have a performing name) DJ Twitchmaster. I have remixes and original music up the yinyang in a variety of formats, unfortunately, but I'll post the links for you here.

A hip hop style version of 'Green Eggs and Ham' by Dr Seuss, recorded by the Born Freaky Stylers (me and my mate Tom) for my student Radio show a couple of years ago.
Hope you like it

Probably the worst song in the world.
Stand By Your Man
By Lemmy (Motorhead) and Wendy O Williams (Plasmatics)
If anyone can find a copy of that anywhere can they let me know ?
For sheer Brilliant lyrics how about Cavaliers by Steve Harley ? :
"Masturbation
Get Enough
You can stuff your ideals up
But nothing new
I'm getting ready to run and hide
Looking for a suitable Bitch
To Crucify
(He goes on) :
Ten little Niggers
Hooked on Absinthe and Daffodils
Telling tales of Wild Gardenia
Honky Tonk
And all the love that's in you"
