But I'd say Kermode as a critic is far better than Sandler is as a comedian. And his books are pretty damn good.

He phrased it awfully but,
since the list is based on no more than rumour, I'm assuming he meant that it could encourage people to believe 1970s homophobic rumours about people, where it was common for morons to link the two.
The far right seem to call muslims paedos nowadays instead.

Possibly because
some gay MPs/former MPs might be persecuted for things that are no longer a crime, but were when they did it (having sex with an under-21 pre-1994).
Modern heterononcing doesn't have that historic five-year "grey area".

you sound as confused as me..
I mean, first everyone was like: 'yeah, Wikileaks is great! stop those nasty right wing govs hiding how many innocent civilians they kill and make them accountable, wooo yeah! stick it to the man!'
Then some sort of critical mass of approval was reached, and suddenly it was like being conformist, and people were like: 'Oh Wikileaks? yeah, I don't toe the line, me, I'm an independant, critical thinker, so I think Wikileaks is a bad thing, putting lives at risk, and it's all about his ego, that Assange guy, and I heard he gets more pussy than I do, so fuck him!'
Same thing as Ricky Gervais, nobody had a bad word to say about the guy 'Oh man, the Office is so true to life, subtly funny, and that whole bittersweet romance thing, its so well written, and they bowed out when at the top', then suddenly its as if the guy had buggered everyone's grandmothers.
Makes my head spin.

Wikileaks used to be a neat idea, and true to its cause.
And then Assange started grandstanding and ruined it.

How are they spending so much money
is it just in server redundancy and so on?

legal bills I'd imagine
lawyers are more expensive than renting a few servers.
There's a career tip kids.

I assume it gets a massive amount of traffic
and has a weird amount of distribution and redundancy - and probably insane stuff like oil rig server farms or anything which is considered international waters and so on.
But you are probably correct. It is probably all money towards defending wozizname, and dealing with lawerly crap...
I used to date a lawyer, and they change after they do the soul transfer.

I've seen the first ten minutes on this film three times
but never got any further.
I imagine it's more of the same for another 80 mins

It sort of delves into the insane ramblings of the same until the last half an hour when all hell breaks loose and any sort of taste or respect for sanity just gets thrown out the window in favour of just being plain Japaniese.
