# sexy
you play tf2 as well?
(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 12:05, archived)
# From time to time
Can't find a server i like though.

Whereas with CSS there's a good server and a great bunch of lads I always play against, so css wins for me.
(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 12:06, archived)
# i tend to play with mr pineapple mostly on a few servers
tf2 i can't settle on one just yet but i've found two that are rather good and have more to offer than hyperactive teenagers voice spamming whatever on their cd player. the best on i've found for tf2 so far is a C-Servers one that's suffixed "OFAB" thats got a really good crowd on it

edit: i've tried adding you but its coming up unavailable. d'you wanna gaz me the email address you're registered on?
(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 12:14, archived)
# Hmm, might have a look
I've got Pinapple as a Steam friend, only played against him a few times.
(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 12:16, archived)
# he's fucking evilly good

(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 12:20, archived)
# THAT
is infinitely better than the actual film.

TRUE WOO
(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 11:57, archived)
# Really?
I haven't seen it yet, thought it looked good
(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 11:57, archived)
# Rest assured
it is utter poo

in fact watching a poo for an hour and half is more fun so go to the park instead and watch some. you can put a smug grin on it and pretend it's Will Smith
(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 12:01, archived)
# I personally though it was piss poor
the other three people I was with enjoyed it... two of them are my friends and one is my misses so to say that they are ill educated know nothing dribbling retards who wouldn't know a good film unless I told them would be a harsh thing to say, but the truth is often harsh and cruel.

They are wrong. I am right. This film is shit and I would recommend that you see Wall.E instead... or wait for Batman
(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 12:01, archived)
# i really want to see wall e
that looks lovely
(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 12:02, archived)
# me too
I've heard its excellent

I liked Ratatouille as well, seems the 'toons have it
(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 12:04, archived)
# it will be better than finding nemo
I ALMOST saw it at Glastonbury - but I was otherwise engaged.
(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 12:04, archived)
# i don't know that it'll be better than monsters inc though

(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 12:06, archived)
# I'm not sure - it might be.
They story will have to be good because everyone has got over the excitement of seeing a rendered 3D animation... also; they've kind of perfected it now - we're out of the honeymoon period where we're wowed by the visuals so the characters and the story need to carry it...
(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 12:08, archived)
# but pixar have always had a decent story if we ignore Cars

(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 12:16, archived)
# mmmm - I suppose you could make that argument

(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 12:24, archived)
# Y'see
I just can't get excited about Wall.E. There must be some fantastic premise that I'm just not understanding.

I have no doubt the visuals will be spectacular and Wall.E will be a sickeningly cute character but I've not heard anything about the story which makes me want to see it.

Same with Ratatouille.
(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 12:03, archived)
# I thought ratatouille was poor, very poor
even by Disney's standards. If you're in the mood for a slushy American version of how stories will be told I think Wall.E will probably be funny... and it covers the topic of what the Earth is like when the Humans have gone... but it will be a Disney film and so racist.
(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 12:06, archived)
# I liked Ratatouille
Although I can't put my finger on why really
(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 12:08, archived)

... is the only thing I can think of.
(, Tue 8 Jul 2008, 12:08, archived)
