Today I've invented a brand.
I want to prove and show that I can create a brand out of nothing, which will include a massive comercial social media presence and website. I'm developing logos, pictures, storyboards and treating it as if its a paying client.
It's called AmazeDogs and its all about dogs, the direction is hopefully going to eventually get sponsorship and advertisement from dog related brands, such as pet food, homes, dog walkers and all of that.
I would very much like it, if anyone has a dog or loves dogs and would be interested in writing/photographing/videoing/anything, they would like to help me, that would be fantastic.

What does Amaze Dogs actually do? Or is it just a name at the moment.

They'll be lots of things, it'll be hard to limit them to be honest.
Guides, product reviews, videos, stories, advice, articles, photos, news items, links to charities and adoption appeals... and that's what I can think of off the top of my head.
The idea is to have daily content

Replicated content is also a really bad thing for SEO traffic. They're way above my game at the moment, and probably always will be, but they've got a few really good ideas that I might be able to emulate.

Some have left or are 'having a break' (BGB, Vipros etc.), some people's circumstances have changed (Roota) some are bored with the amount of 'in jokes' as some of us have got to know each other IRL, B3ta traffic is down overall on a long term trend, some people are bored of the meme's and lurkers are reluctant to post due to the welcome they'd get.

One's general admin for a housing group.
The other (today) is one of 3 assistant project officer roles (my preferred option even though it pays a bit less), one of which is just 2 miles down the road. However, if successful I'm not guaranteed to be placed there even though I've stated it as a preference. The other two are in Sunderland and Easington, which might be cost prohibitive in terms of travel (the salary's not great).

But daily mileage would be about 100 a day on commuting alone, so I'd be forking out around £90 a week on petrol which would take a hell of a chunk out of an already not brilliant wage.

Last time was just for six weeks at the end of my last job (to a place just a few miles up the road from Easington) and that got tedious very quickly. Although I did at least get mileage costs for it as it was off-site work.
So whilst this role is my preferred one, if I was offered the Sunderland or Easington gig, then got an offer from the housing people, I'd go with the housing as it's more easily commutable being in Newcastle. If I don't get the housing offer, but do get one of those two, I'd probably have to take it but keep looking close to home.
