This is a question Question of the Week suggestions

Each week we ask a question. The idea is to generate material that's:

* interesting to read, i.e. we won't get bored of reading the answers after about 10 of them
* not been asked on this site before
* fun to answer

What would you like to ask? (We've left this question open - so feel free to drop in ideas anytime.)

Folk Songs For The 21st Century.
Traditional music is full of songs about occupations and ways of life that nowadays sound romantic - I'm talking songs like 'The Raggle Taggle Gypsy', 'The Outlandish Knight', 'Sheffield Grinders' and so on.

Suggest modern equivalents/updates.

Nah.
Folk music in the 21st century will never kick off.

Ah now, I reckon you could put together something fairly offensive for 'All Around My Linux Shirt'

I quite like this idea
Might be worth seeing if it can be expanded into fairy/folk tales as well, for those of us who lack a librettist. ;)
