This is a link post "Information wants to be free!"
Wikileaks leaks information purporting to be "Erdogan's emails", but in fact all they do is the biggest doxxing of ordinary people in history.

Looking through those links, there are many that have opinions from "experts" about legality of plans, harm to the world if elected and to the very extreme, he is like Hitler and must be stopped at all costs.

It just made me reflect on how many countries in the article used force to stop the democratic process because people they labeled "crazy" "dangerous" and "undemocratic" were getting ahead in the polls.

This is a normal post I have never really trusted him as I think he's an ambitious opportunist out for his own self interest.
That said, that puts him in the top 99% of all politicians. I do like that he speaks his mind and at least defends himself from the BS accusations and lies that go out in the media, which is used to republicans rolling over and trying to be liked. That, is at least entertaining.

But, I do worry about how much executive power has gone unchecked during the Obama administration. I've even asked friends who really like Obama and supported those powers he assumed if they would like a "President Trump" to do the same - universally, none of them do. That is the problem with an executive creating or ignoring laws extra-parliamentary.

This is a normal post It's a good question, but republicans are notoriously weak and conscious of the public.
Also, Obama had two years of a democrat majority in both the house and senate and had to wait until republicans were voted in to pass his signature health legislation. I suspect his party wanted political cover in case things went south.

This is a normal post When I read "Law Scholars agree", or "plan proven unconstitutional" it raises lots of red flags.
Legal scholars, like any other scholar have not only differences in legal opinion, but differences in political opinion. Whether something is or is not constitutional would need to be analyzed, but the final say is a court.

And "supporter" is quite broad; we've been lectured for weeks here how people showing up at protests and killing cops, causing property damage, assaulting females, etc. don't represent the rest of the people. But with Trump, that seems not to apply. I could type up a similar list against the other candidate, but you might just call it hate speech and try to get my employer to fire me.

This is a normal post Not a fear of people from other countries, or even people of different racial or ethnic backgrounds.
There is a fear when a president says he will not enforce laws that he is constitutionally required to enforce in favor of people who are breaking the law and entering and staying in the country illegally. That is where people are unhappy - the lawbreaking and the tacit approval, even in the face of Supreme Court decisions.

There are many people who are doing the whole immigration thing right, by complying with the laws and regulations. It is very costly and time consuming, like anything else when dealing with the government.

Well, I made it into an iPhone app.

Here's one of the drawings someone else did. You could do some too!

It's got some in-app purchases for pens but I wouldn't make you lovely people pay (not least because someone will call me an asshole)

Use these codes to get all the pens free: b3tafeltpens / b3tamagicpens (tap help, enter code, paste in each one)

Feedback much appreciated. It's only at version 1 so lots still to do.

This is a normal post It was quite good, wasn't it?
Dara O'Briain's role was minimal and it could have been anyone presenting really. The bit with the robots fighting was good, and that's the main thing.
