1st! For the laptop - CanonCaliber with this image. A surprise winner but VFOAC say, 'While an unorthodox choice – this ticket inspired a whole leg of the campaign, so it would be unfair not to give him the prize.' Indeed, if you check their flickr page you can see they used the gag for a whole host of things.
Runners up - £25 Amazon vouchers: Beau Bo d’Or, Happy Toast, The Great Architect, Octo, Mushroom, Brian F Tang, dr broon, mr ginglymus, the twisted omentum and Fat Boab.
EDIT: If you're a winner and haven't had an email from me then MAKE SURE YOU EMAIL ME ASAP on robmanuel at gmail dot com - I need to make sure I have valid email addresses before sending out prizes as I don't want to send them to dead accounts.

and yay for a political voting campaign that completely ignored 3 months of votes to give the prize to someone they picked for their own benefit,
I know I sound bitter but what a fucking bunch of fucking hypocritical cunts
actually cunts isn't a strong enough word, can someone invent a worse swear please.

I know it's annoying to have got the highest public vote and not win overall. I'd be irritated too.

... chosen by Vote for a Change rather than the usual voting on the board - however that doesn't mean you shouldn't bother voting as that'll help them know which ones are popular.
BUT
Ignoring the compo for 2 and a half months until a gun is held to their heads damns their credibility somewhat.
I withdrew my entries because they were treating us all like twats.
I agree with your final views on VFAC.

As I replaced all my entries three weeks ago (I thought it was a month) AND I still won a prize (now reallocated), then VFAC either did not look at the competition for three or more weeks or just judged the images they had taken and put on their Facebook page.

They gave the prizes out in the end, so there's not really much reason for abuse. Can't imagine what you people would do if something really awful happened. No-one died.

The Flickr snaps showing the Gravy Train tour were taken in early September..
.. meaning they'd clearly decided on a winner by the end of August, had already created photo opportunities themed around the winning entry, yet completely neglected to mention it to any of the participants/hosts for another seven weeks.
Cunts?
I should coco..
