Homosexual northern English chav selling everything he owns, half of which is stolen.
The beans and the overpriced condoms suggest some sort of laundering scam and the dirty socks suggest that he's trying to capture the Japanese businessman market, but overall I think he's just a chancer having a laugh, or it's drug dealing using some very localised slang code. Or something.

This one's still my favourite, 1986 winner:
"The bone-chilling scream split the warm summer night in two, the first half being before the scream when it was fairly balmy and calm and pleasant, the second half still balmy and quite pleasant for those who hadn't heard the scream at all, but not calm or balmy or even very nice for those who did hear the scream, discounting the little period of time during the actual scream itself when your ears might have been hearing it but your brain wasn't reacting yet to let you know."

Not all of these are bad...I think some are deliberate and others are both deliberate and genius:
"Ronald left this world as he entered it: on a frigid winter night, amid frantic screams and blood-soaked linens, while relatives stood nearby and muttered furious promises to find and punish the man responsible."

The bit that worries me
isn't her ranting about fat people (I mean, I'm inclined to agree but I'd never put it into practice as that mean people die); it's this:
'While NHS provision is decided on clinical need, there is a safety net that promises to catch everybody, regardless of their actions or their ability to pay.
We need to strip away this safety net. Stop the government providing a free pass to medical care - and make people pay for their poor choices.'
'Their ability to pay'? Really? She can afford a wheatgerm kiwi grape Health Smoothie every day and designer running gear: good for her. Objectionable that she brings money into it, though.

contentious issue is contentious
The one point she makes that almost sounds like a valid point (people might subconsciously believe the NHS can pick up the pieces) would mean that before the NHS no one drank themselves to an early grave, which is clearly nonsense.
But I can't help but pragmatically and simplistically agree that people who abuse any system should in theory contribute to it more. Edit - which as Snowytherabbit rightly says, is already the case.

Having just talked to my girlfriend who is in the hospital again
I can tell you nobody wants to go to the hospital. For the life of me I can't think of anyone who would abuse the system by deliberately getting themselves sick, because every single moment of having a medical condition that needs hospital treatment sucks. The pain aside it is frustrating not being able to take care of yourself.

So if u go running
Which is more dangerous than walking?
Or if you are cycling without a helmet?
People make silly dangerous choices all the time we dont let them die

Running destroys your knees
Knees are expensive, why should I have to pay for these idiots who don't realize that running is a really bad wy of staying in shape?
So are we not going to pay out in traffic accidents when the driver was at fault?
This is ludicrous,

Yes it is
There is no way to have a national health service that only treats non-self induced injuries.
EDIT: Toast, i'm happy for you to illustrate exactly what we should and shouldn't be paying for...

Try getting a donor organ if you're a heavy drinker, smoke or obese.
The NHS doesn't have the money to give everybody everything they need so it prioritises.
You may not be excluded totally but you won't be at the top of the list.

Morning there, largely I aggree with you
Tax on alcohol is way too little in this country given the amount it costs the state to deal with the effects.*
Been a while since I smoked but I never resented paying the tax because one day this choice may land me in need of care.
There should be a tax on food with large amounts of fat too.
*I make my own at 50p for a bottle of wine but that's not the point

Scenario :- Fat bloke walks into A+E and says his leg hurts
'I'm sorry,' Says A+E, 'You're fat, therefore we won't help you.'
Fat bloke calls 'Where there's blame there's a claim.' the number he got from the posters plastered all over the walls of the waiting room.

Already contribute more to the NHS via taxation? A huge proportion of the cost of a packet of cigarettes or bottle of booze in this country goes straight to the government.

Fame-chasing nobody makes controversial statement shock
I have never met this woman but having read about her I would say she has some 'issues' and probably needs to undergo an ego-reduction procedure (not paid for by the NHS, obviously).

So I see her all the time. Hard to not shout in her face, but it's attention she wants so I choose to ignore her.

Jimmy Saviles driver who was arrested has a website.
His radio shows float somewhere between sinister and tragic. One long conversation with himself is about how he floats wasabi peas in water overnight so they are soft, and mixes them with curry powder and fruit. He reads from the can the details of how many grams the fruit weighs. Then he has some jingles and plays soul classics.
If this is a bogus account and it's a spoof then doh!
