Looks like a furniture shop... Soo want to do...
Actually the first monocoque composite aircraft, replace wood fibre with fibre glass/carbon and you have a modern aircraft.

When you think about it, it's construction is more modern than a F22/F35...
God, the English were good.

I don't know why,
but the phrase 'unique camera angles' sent me off on a bizarre train of thought. Every angle is unique. 90 degrees is not 89 degrees or 91.
But, every single person on the planet is 90 degrees away from something and could potentially film it, therefore making it the least unique thing possible.
Discuss while I drink more wine.

Can't talk too long...
Actually looking for Mc Guardian Modular VLCC and ending up in this.
But it means that you have cameras set to an angle height combo.
They would not pass straight above the objective because of flack, worst angle to actually see stuff and giving the game away.
You'd "aim the aircraft at a set altitude and distance.
Different combos to adapt to conditions.
The camera was fixed.
There is a delightful 1940's RAF training video on the youtubes somewhere that explains it all in grainy moustache curling detail.

Also why is it a noodle? Noodles don't float and don't stay in long cylindrical shapes.

Which is something I oddly found out by hearing 'Baader-Meinhoff' twice in one afternoon - once in a film title and then in a book mentioning the phenomenon (which I wasn't purposefully looking up).

More footage from "The day the clown cried" has surfaced
For those that missed it before, it's an unreleased Jerry Lewis film, the story of a clown who finds himself in a concentration camp during the holocaust.
The film ends in a gas chamber, with the clown going in to face his death with a group of scared children, trying to make them laugh in order take away their fear. It ends with them all locked in, the kids laughing as the clown juggles stale bread.

It's certainly a phenomenon in all walks of life. At one time, you've got it, and then you lose it, and it's gone forever. All walks of life: George Best, for example. Had it, lost it. Or David Bowie, Lou Reed, Charlie Nicholas, David Niven, Malcolm McLaren, Elvis Presley… All I'm trying to do is help you understand that The Name of The Rose is merely a blip on an otherwise uninterrupted downward trajectory.

The Reach of Resonance
I made this!
Some of you may remember this clip I posted a while back http://www.b3ta.com/links/Fiddling_with_Tchaikovsky
Well (and sorry for the self-spam, etc), I had to share the news with you all that the feature documentary I produced (of which the former clip is a result) has finally been picked up by a distributor and it is available online. More outlets/formats are soon to be available.
It's not for everyone (probably not for kids, what with the cockroaches & nudity), but if you watch it, I'd love to know what you think. Trailer here: https://vimeo.com/ondemand/resonance/82651296
Rob, I hope you don't mind that I showed your quote to our distributors and they ended up using it. If you'd rather it wasn't there, I will have it taken off the site. Sorry, mr.dogshit, I didn't use your quote.

Oh dear God
I recorded the official fireworks coverage off the Beeb. It was pretty unimpressive on my shit 32" semi-HD screen which was no doubt down to the low quality "professional" cameras being used by "trained" operator idiots.
There were literally scores of keen amateurs in the crowd, holding aloft the very latest in cellphone camera technology. Why can't they use that, clearly far superior, footage? I mean, the poor scamps are queueing for long enough in the pissing rain and then sacrificing any actual enjoyment in order to get otherwise unobtainable and exclusive footage; why does it all have to go to waste in just to protect the undeserved, license-funded jobs of a few fat cats?
I was so angry I put my foot through my phone charger and sent John Logie Baird the bill.

I remember the fireworks from the GLC days in the 1980's
From what I remember they had used clay mortar shells, and bits of firework casings were raining down from the sky, quite a few people hurt that night.

I was lucky enough to be flying home last November the 5th.
Got a window seat and all, really looking forward to how it would look from 20000 ft. Fucking shite is the answer. It looked like sparks bouncing off the ground, even the big displays looked awful. The bonfires were quite impressive, ironically enough.
