This is a link post Led Zeppelin rip off Small Faces
Not exactly new news, but you get the feeling, before recording Whole Lotta Love, Led Zep may have been listening to this version of Small Faces' You Need Lovin' recorded as part of a BBC session four years earlier.
(incidentally, it's 20 years ago today that Steve Marriott passed away)

what's overclocking?
(, Wed 20 Apr 2011, 21:46, , Reply)
This is a normal post hopefully I'm walking into some kind of trap here
but overclocking is basically when you adjust the running speed of your computer components the higher level to provide more power for intensive programs (like games usually). A typical computer might have a 2.4ghz processor as standard but when pushed to a higer voltage and higher speed the same processor could output 3.0ghz. A typical consequence of this is that idiots like me, who overclock to silly levels, provide what they think is an adequate cooling system and it turns out not to be so, resulting in 'burning out' or melting of expensive computer hardware.

When I describe what happened to my previous sli twin-linked graphics cards I usually explain it as 'I set fire to my computer'.

Hopefully that helps?

From the FAQ

"To make it less useful for snoops, the spatial and temporal accuracy of the data has been artificially reduced. You can only animate week-by-week even though the data is timed to the second, and if you zoom in you’ll see the points are constrained to a grid, so your exact location is not revealed. The underlying database has no such constraints, unfortunately."

I remember Beadle's About (or something) doing a similar prank whereby people were interviewed, vox-pop-style about their memory and attention to detail. During these street interviews, 'removals men' carrying large objects would walk between the interviewer/interviewee and the interviewer would swap with someone who looked a bit similar. I'm not sure if i'm explaining this right. I'll stop now. Beadle's About didn't have the happy piano soundtrack.
