The Russian government have banned lingerie

I've read about this
Lots of women protested by wearing lingerie as hats, apparently.
Of all the things to ban, seriously!?

They haven't banned underwear
they've just banned underwear made from synthetic materials. So the ladies don't get all sweaty around their 'down-belows'.
Public health, innit?

I understood it was lacey (provocative) underwear
But I'm willing to stand corrected. Still stupid though. If that's the case, why just underwear?

It's 'clothing worn next to the body'.

So many questions
Why would you spill a drink and not pick it up immediately?
Why would you not move a rug when a spillage is spreading towards it?
Why would you record a video in portrait?
Why would you not know that it would take you an hour to travel 80 miles at 80 miles per hour?
Why would you feel so passionately about it?
Why would you drive to Asda when it is only around the corner?

These things ^ seem very flimsy in design and the zip is silly - if you can use a zip, why not just pull the pants down ?
Am I missing something ?
