Tedious isn't it!
I haven't owned a TV in something like 6 years. It always feels strange watching ads. A weird little culture shock, like when living in a foreign country for the first time. Also a lot of them seem like well produced mini movies to me now.

there's a trick to adblocking 4od
where you disable adblock, press play on the vid, and then enable it again when the 1st ad starts. Then all the rest of the ads are skipped.

I thought it was good.
But all this part 1, part 2, part 3 etc after every ad break (I watched without ads) grated on me. I thought it better than at least a couple of the earlier outings. For me, some of the earlier ones had ambitions that were thwarted by budget constraints. This one, not so much, solid 7 point five out of ten. Would recommend.

well lets see the goodies saouth affrica sketch was a look back at how british comedy saw the problems of apparthide and dealt with it in a fairly typical 1970's way
that doesnt make me a racist at all, because i can laugh, at how bad the stereo typing was and the almost ludite way that it was portrayed.
as for the new bishop? christ she is one ugly woman, but to get to the position she reached with out good looks to help her must show that she is more than capable of doing what ever it is that she is doing, if you dont like that , well thats upto you, i dont have to try to change your mind or explain the ins and outs of 70's comedy, theres enough of it on youtube for you to watch and make your own mind up, but remember that most of what is considerd racsist comedy from that decade and the 60's was actualy poking fun at the white british for not understanding and adapting to the influx of coloured people after the war.
