There was that one a while ago with that football team
In the run up to a match between Man City and a tiny cypriot team called AC Omonia, someone edited the wiki entry to say the fans were called "The Zany Ones", wore hats made from shoes and sang about a little potato.
The Mirror ended up reporting it as fact, which gained some wonderful ridicule, but then some of the fans started doing it anyway.

Wikipedia provides you with tools though.
You can just view the discussion pages and compare the history to see if there is any kind of controversy or edit war. You can also click the links and have a look at the source materials.
If you use wikipedia for critical information, and you don't look at these pages, and you don't check veracity of source material, then you deserve to receive inaccurate information, and F grades for your work.

that's what I found special about this, people just suck it up and later on in the evening they realize how fucking stupid they have been.

The thing about tattoos
that interests me, stop reading now, this is going to get very dull, is tattoo removal. Having understood how it works, thanks to this, www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0B7F5UbTOQ , is that while there may no longer be heavy metals like cadmium and lead in the dyes, essentially, are we going to see a rise in liver cancers or general cirrhosis that can be correlated to tattoo removal? Tattoo removal has only been around for, at most, three decades. Is this a ticking time bomb? What about Vaping? I'm less concerned about this vis à vis lung cancer, but what about oral cancers? I need platitudes, and I need them then.

Dogs are rubbish and people that like them are rubbish as well
I bet their house smells of wet dog. They are also clearly people that let an animal that has perviously licked it own arse lick their face, they have an unpaid bill sitting in the letter box and have shot this drivel in fucking portrait!
Cats RULE!

Dogs are ace - theyre fun and loving
Cats are similar - until theyve had enough of you- then its claws, cat P!ss and teeth until you go away - in your own home.
Then they go missing, and completley fuck you off until the place they went to becomes boring or stops providing food. In which case they come back and pretend they loved you all along.
Cats are like really really horrible Girlfriends.

This stuff was shit in the 80's
Retro-shit is still shit, just hiding behind the 'oh we are retro-chic' excuse.
Fumpy old grucker I am

I'll be honest here, having just watched it all the way through, I prefer the trailer.

The first one was good, just right amount of ridiculous to cool.

whereas this just looks like they couldn't be bothered with anything resembling a plot to pad out the trailer
And what the fuck is going on with the crowd scenes, I know they could only afford one Nazi soldier but having him just mill around in all directions in the background rather than interact with the story looks fucking abysmal

I thought it was a parallel of 80's style side scrolling beat em ups
I'm sure one of the moves one of the Nazis is doing rings a bell from somewhere
funny as fuck

^ this
I thought it was a reference to the old Double Dragon style beat em ups where there would be half a dozen identical looking baddies to dispatch using physically impossible moves. I saw moves that have clearly been taken from Final Fight, Pit Fighter and Mortal Kombat.

Well maybe I'm easily pleased compared to you lot but I enjoyed that
Especially the Capcom/Taito esque beat em up moves, the dinosaur delivering the moral message at the end and a great soundtrack throughout. You can tell the writers had been playing Double Dragon & Final Fight and watching He-Man in their childhoods

Love it!
Shame to be working from home, as soon as I clock off I'm sticking this on - am also going to subject the other half to it, proper faux eighties cheese!
