I agree
Usually it's Mrs InTheJar who asks what's going on during films/tv shows/eastenders/teletubbies/the bedroom. But twin peaks beats the hell out of me!

I thought it went downhill after they revealed who killed Laura Palmer;
something I believe they had not originally planned to do (or at least not so early) which is possibly why the plot wears quite thin afterwards. It does pick up again towards the end of the second series, however.

Lynch's taste in interior decor runs to homemade artworks like "the bee board—real bees pinned to a board with names under them like Hugh, Bart, Sam, Mack and Jim," says Jennifer. "He gets them dead from a bug store."
Hmmm I wonder.

It veers from...
...unintentionally hilarious and dated, to properly scary and unsettling. Often in the span of a few seconds.
It's also veers from totally profound to utterly ridiculous in much the same manner.
Well worth a watch and persevering I'd say.
It also has one of the hottest female casts ever ensembled (with a few exceptions. Though a young Lara Flynn Boyle and Heather Graham more than make up for the uggers).

"No Rinse Body Bath Pouch Assembly"
At first I thought it might be an abbreviation for 'sanitizer pouch' in French since that is a Canadian space situation, but probably not.
French restaurants abbreviate 'plate' as 'ass' anyway, so there's lots of restaurants with signs that say "chicken ass" etc.

Have a read of the book, it is a great insight to many things (both in the film world and beyond) from the '60s-'80s, and he can tell a good story.
He seems have spent most of his life treating people like shit in pursuit of his own pleasure and ambition, abandoning wives/girlfriends/children when something more interesting came along. In later life he realised what a massive arse he'd been and makes a great effort to correct his mistakes. Nice story of redemption etc.
Also, one of his marriages took place in a church next to where I work.

I don't know what to say about this. It is a man dipping his hand in water and playing his beard like a guitar string and then like a cuica, and then blowing bubbles in the beard water, and then doing some other things that I stopped watching. It gave me a greasy musical 2 girls 1 cup sort of vibe although obviously safe for work.

The US postal service commissions the production of a load of RHD Jeeps every year.
It's so posties don't have to leave the vehicle to shove the mail in the box next to the street.
They often have Jeeps left over and are sold off cheap.
At the time when the UK Gov was subsidising LPG conversions it was a great way of getting a cheap to run and cheap to buy Cherokee.
