Why is causing offense even a crime?
Verbal offence is taken not given. I could try my hardest to offend the the chillest dude on earth and he would just shrug and remain cool, but some cunts have hair triggers and apparently we have to pander these weak ass dweebs.
What the fuck is the point in employing PC Dominique Walker to keep people safe if she gets hurt by the English language.

Yeah. I suppose the first early uses of metal were exclusively for killing prey or enemies, neither of which he has any call for.
I don't really see where his smelting could have gone, given the quantity and quality he was able to make. It was an interesting dead end though.

Rather surprisingly there are two documentaries about Norwegian Black Metal. Both are fascinating even if you don't listen to black metal as there's not much music in either, there are some great stories though, but only by watching both can you come anywhere near the truth.

their answers are actually logic-twisting fallacies which anyone with any actual *knowledge* could disprove. But it's always more interesting to defend an indefensible position. You learn more*. Also, it's how I earn my living.

Vegetarian food is fine, but should never be mislabelled. I was once offered "a sausage" at a BBQ which turned out to not to be a sausage at all.
The vegans responsible looked all smugly at me and said something like "see? you can barely tell the difference!". I spat the offending mouthful at their sandals, and they're lucky that's all I did.

A 'Meatball' without meat is understandably misleading.
But the word 'sausage' doesn't exactly guarantee a high meat (or even animal bits) content in the first place. It's like saying you can't have a vegetarian 'sandwich'.
But in French, obviously.

The word "sausage"...
Actually, it does. I believe that there's a regulation that specifies a minimum meat content in things sold as sausages - which is why the really cheap ones are sold as "bangers" or something like that: they're mainly rusk and eyelid.
If it's a European regulation, then it would apply to France, and even if it isn't, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a similar regulation there.
